Create multiple links with custom event filters in Notion to Calendar

A major milestone in Notion to Calendar development: Custom filters and multiple calendar links

Yours truly, on the Notion to Calendar blog post How to Use Notion Database Views with Filters as Calendar Links

Notion Database views with filters as calendar links allow you to transform your Notion databases into shareable calendar feeds with specific filtering criteria. Instead of sharing your entire database, you can now create targeted calendar links that only display events matching your chosen filters.

For some months now you can create custom calendar links for each of your notion databases.

Paired with filters, this is a very useful feature to show in your calendar only your useful events, for example, your assigned events or tasks, or only confirmed events based on a checkbox.

This has been a difficult to implement feature, as Notion allows deeply nested conditions, which I wanted to mimic as much as possible to allow maximum parity with Notion workflows.

Unluckily, Notion doesn’t show views or filters applied in your database and only exports the raw database, without any modifications applied, so it’s not possible to just share a database and choose a tab of the database with the filters applied in notion to be seen in your calendar app –that would be SWEET–, so here’s my attempt to make users lives easier.

Take a look at Notion to Calendar and try it out yourself!
